Brenda Mason Young

Brenda Mason Young is the Founder and Executive Director of Clear Blue Global Water Project. She retired as lead pastor at Cornerstone Church, an aggressive church in Akron, Ohio in August 2020 and remains very active as Discipleship Pastor there. 

She preached a sermon there in June, 2006 with a desire to raise money in a special offering for one well in Malawi. The response was so strong that the church paid for 11 wells over the next three months, and within a year had founded Clear Blue.

Brenda is well-traveled, and is a speaker in demand in the United States and in conferences around the world. She received her education at Ohio Christian University (B.A.) , a Asbury Theological Seminary (M.A.R.), and was also awarded an honorary Doctorate from the Center of Contemporary Christianity in Banaglore, India.

With her husband Charles Young, also a very effective pastor, church planter  and leader in the wider church, they have three wonderful children and their families all serving Jesus. Brenda was suddenly widowed in 2019.
